A Letter

Dear Eros,

                

                   You have run amok in my culture. I 

can't turn around without seeing your obsessive 

following. Everyone is chasing madly after you. 

I am tired of it. I would like it very much if you 

would take a vacation. It needn't be very long. 

Perhaps a year. Just one year with out your 

influence on all of our emotions, desires and 

lives. That would be the most wonderful thing 

you could ever do.
