I mean Really Truly.

And observe the world around you?

Recent Musing #4

My walls are covered with the past, because I haven't figured out how to hang the future.

He guilted you. Told you off mildly, but in this public way. And you just sat and held your face. No reaction until you formulated how to show regret.
Almost like you didn't know what he was talking about.
But really, you just didn't know what to say.

Formerly Recent Musings #3

We were just two souls in the dark
Your voice and mine
Only lips and ears.
I'm glad it was us
There together,
Hearing and speaking
The truest of true

--

If you knew me you would see. The way my face is overcompensating for interest in your words. The way I keep scrunching my eyes and blinking smiles. Nodding too much. I am being polite, I wish I did care, so I keep up the act. But behind it all I wish you would leave. Just say you have things to do, and walk away.

Recent Musings #2

Well, now they are weeks old musings...

When the sand rubs off, we're all just paper people.
    Defenseless, and stripped of our personas of power, we have nothing left to scare each other away
    with.

The clouds are waves lit by the moon in an ocean of sky.
   If only we could swim there.

Recent Musings #1

This is the first post in a series. It will share with you little poems, phrases and thoughts that have come to my mind in recent weeks, but gradually, so that the collection of "beauty" won't become a gaudy un-appreciate-able mess.

Break me from my concrete shell
Let my mush fall to the ground
Raise me up and form me anew
Solid from the inside out

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dying embers fade.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Behind the clouds, the stars are shining.

The music is a little too loud.
But there is no turning it down.
I'm disowning my own thoughts.

My heart is an ocean inside my chest; uncontrollable and tumultuous, varying and steady.

Limitess

I just finished a book.
It was the second in what is to be a series of three.
My mind is numb. I am full of the character's emotions.
I want to be comforted.
I want the story to advance.
But mostly I just wish I was still reading.

Why do we create these alternate worlds.
They so often leave us hallow when we surface back in our own.
Perhaps because the posibilities are limitless there.
As are the world's implications on our own.

Truly
You will notice an email on my pictures now. I figured I should start signing them, and as this is the internet, I figured an email address would do. Also as a deterrent for thievery.

A Dusting of "News"

Sorry the pic is kinda pixilated, I sent it from my phone {:) exciting!}.
Anywho, I set up a blog email today, so if anything bloggy requires email, I am set. pennedinorange@gmail.com
On other fronts I recently read An Abundance of Katherines and Paper Towns both by John Green. I enjoyed each immensely, although I think Paper Towns is the favorite, Katherines was very good as well.
I wanted to blog since I set up the email, however nothing is presenting itself. Perhaps a poem...

restless
stubborn
enemies at heart
change is needed
yet detested
How unfair
It can bring color
appreciation
sometimes strife
Yet always always
good or bad
is greeted with gripe

Remember fair change
when next you feel upset
For good things will come from all
Especially without gripe

Not a great poem, but it shall stand... It goes with the pic.

Perpetual Summer

The gift of time is a gift I continually waste. It seems whatever season of life we're in, humans are apt only to be wanting after another season. So I'm trying to use the time I've been given now and do things that are positive and help me grow with God. It's rather a challenge. But isn't it always?
